fully remote, but must reside in CA - Must be a licensed
Professional Engineer in CA or willingness to get licensed in CA
within 6 months*We are seeking a dedicated and innovative
Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The selected
individual will be responsible for designing, planning, and
overseeing various construction projects, ensuring that structures
are safe and capable of withstanding the elements. This position
will require a deep understanding of structural analysis and a keen
eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background
in Civil Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, structural modeling,
and structural analysis software like RISA and Enercalc. Must be a
licensed Professional Engineer. Responsibilities:1. Analyze
blueprints, sketches, or building plans for upcoming projects to
ensure the structural soundness and compliance with design
standards.2. Use software applications such as AutoCAD, RISA, and
Enercalc to design and perfect project plans.3. Conduct on-site
inspections to ensure the construction is carried out as per the
established plans and standards.4. Prepare and present detailed
reports on project progress, costs, and designs to stakeholders.5.
Collaborate with architects, construction crews, and design teams
on large projects, ensuring efficient and effective execution.6.
Identify potential design improvements and optimization
opportunities.7. Develop safe and innovative structural solutions
that meet client needs and expectations.8. Stay current with the
latest design trends, techniques, and materials in structural
engineering.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil
Engineering or a related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of
experience in a similar role.3. Professional Engineering (PE)
license is required.4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA, Enercalc, and
other structural modeling and analysis software.5. Excellent
knowledge of design and visualizations software.6. In-depth
understanding of structural engineering principles and best
practices.7. Strong project management and supervision skills.8.
Exceptional ability to make decisions and solve problems
effectively.9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.10.
Strong mathematical and IT ability with an analytical mindset.11.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.12. Ability to work
