Job Details
Under the supervision of a nurse leader, independently prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient.
Performs the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, therapeutic care for patients.
Creates and sustains an environment that supports compassionate caring through authentic presence with the patient and family.
Collaborates with the patient, family and members of the healthcare team to develop individualized plan of care.
Job Requirements
-3 years of experience.
- Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN License).
- Knowledge/experience with Cerner EMR.
- Advanced NRP.
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitor (FHM).
- AWHONN Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI).
- Employees must maintain all health requirements designated by Kern Medical Center.

Additional Details
- Must have knowledge of advanced theory, techniques and practices of nursing; medical terminology, instruments and equipment; the uses and effects of medicines and narcotics.
